The Chief Minister also added that the famous tourist spots witness thousands of tourists every week, whereas destinations like Mussoorie, Chakrata, Nainital, and even Lansdowne, have a limited capacity. And, as Uttarakhand is blessed with so much beauty and countless other locations like Bhimtal, such festivals will push tourists to add those locations in their travel itinerary, which can be developed into tourist attractions as well.
Later in this month, Nainital will host the Winter Carnival, which will also host a food festival. Although exact dates are yet to be finalised, officials stated that it will likely be organised around Christmas.
The Chief Minister also inaugurated several development and infrastructure projects, including the Rashtriya Bal Swasthya Karyakram (RBSK), Kumaon’s first tele-medicine service, a special portal for ASHA workers, and various other projects in Haldwani.
