Based on 130 parameters, Switzerland topped the list with a cumulative score of 752. Its effective monitoring system, quarantining programme, treatment and detection of the virus, has been pivotal in preventing the ‘overburden’ situation on the country’s healthcare system.
The report also explains that Switzerland’s ranking is at the top and has been mostly because of the continuing decline in its rate of infection spread and mortality, and various other factors that positioned the country to manage a healthy post-pandemic economy.
The study hopes to present an average of each country, apart from acknowledging that some regions have been much more intensely affected than others.
