Great Himalayan National Park, Himachal Pradesh

Valley of Flowers National Park, Uttarakhand
Located in Chamoli district, Valley of Flowers National Park is most famous for its landscapes, Alpine flowers, butterflies and endangered species of plants. It is also one of the most famous trekking destinations in India. However, the national park is open from June to October. Valley of Flowers National Park is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Sariska Tiger Reserve, Rajasthan
Sariska Tiger Reserve and National Park is located in Alwar district, and is known for Bengal tigers, leopards, and various bird populations. Sariska is known for its historical ruins, including the Kankwadi Fort, and the diverse wildlife in the Aravalli range.
Bandhavgarh National Park, Madhya Pradesh
Located in Umaria district, the national park is one of the most popular national parks in India, and one that gives some of the best tiger sightings in the country. Bandhavgarh is known for its high density of tigers and the ancient Bandhavgarh Fort that overlooks the park.
Kanha National Park, Madhya Pradesh
The national park is spread across Mandla and Balaghat districts, and is most popular for Bengal tigers, barasingha (swamp deer), and Indian wild dogs. The national park is also one of the best birding destinations in India.
