This outstanding rock statue is a tribute to one the greatest Tamil poets—Thhiruvalluvar—who was also a saint and a philosopher and best known for his philosophical work— ‘Thirukkural.’ The statue is 133-feet long, corresponding to the number of chapters in the treatise. The foot off the statue is a fabulous vantage point offering sweeping views of the coast.
