Shillong: The capital city of Meghalaya

Mawsynram has a lesser number of tourists too. When you are visiting Mawsynram, try to attend the traditional archery matches. Khasi traditional archery is very big here, and they have this every day.
Mawlynnong: One of the cleanest villages in Asia
Few years ago, Mawlynnong was the cleanest village in Asia. Since then, many countries have drawn inspiration from Mawlynnong. When you visit the village, you will find bamboo dustbins all around. This village is a great place to see traditional Khasi architecture.

Mawphlang: Sacred groves and monoliths
Here you will find the Sacred Grove of Mawphlang. This forest is one of the oldest and the most popular sacred groves in Meghalaya. There’s one rule that all visitors must follow: Do not take anything out of the forest. Not even a leaf or a rock. There are several monoliths that one can see in this forest. It is believed that these monoliths were used for ceremonial purposes.
