A 12-year old takes his family credit card and goes on a solo Bali trip!

Yes, you read that absolutely correctly! In a shocking news, a 12-year old boy from Australia used his brains a little too much and managed to fool people ‘triple’ his age with his brilliant research work! This little boy managed all this on his own, and also by stealing his family’s credit card, because you definitely need money for such kind of overseas travel.
How did he manage to escape?

Well, the boy in question took the credit card’s help to buy himself a ticket and tricked his grandmother in giving him his passport and rest is all history! The boy was reported missing a few months back by his mother when he did not show up at his school. Later, he was found in Bali where he had gone on a solo trip.

His story
So basically, the young ‘traveller’ was upset with his parents when for some reason they cancelled their vacation to Bali. He later planned on stealing his parents’ credit card, took his passport,and did some thorough research. In his research, he found out about an Australian airline let minors travel overseas with student valid passport, and student ID card.

He then managed to take a train from Sydney airport and checked in at one of those self-service stations, and from there he took a connecting flight to Denpasar in Bali from Perth Airport.

After reaching Bali, he checked in at a Bali hotel. There when staff asked him about his parents, he very smartly answered that he was waiting for his sister’s arrival. The mother of the boy was extremely shocked and broken with the news.
