New reports suggest that Thailand e-Visa on arrival is going to start from Feb 14, 2019. The latest service is being set up for tourists from 20 countries. VFS Global has partnered with the Immigration Bureau of Thailand in offering the e-visa on arrival to travellers, which includes Indian travellers as well.
The idea basically is that travellers can now avoid long queues at Thailand airports trying to get their visa on arrival.
The twenty countries that are eligible for the new system put in place are as follows – Andorra, Bhutan, Bulgaria, China, Cyprus, Ethiopia, Fiji, India, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Maldives, Malta, Mauritius, Papua New Guinea, Romania, San Marino, Saudi Arabia, Ukraine, Uzbekistan and Taiwan.
