If you love the outdoors and you crave for a bit of adventure, then you must sway on a suspension bridge, climb atop trees and walk on the edge of the cliffs. Start your adventure with a simple walk, on the 450 feet long Capilano Suspension bridge that is more than 100 years old. Built in 1889 with hemp ropes and cedar planks, which are now replaced by wire cables, this suspension bridge is one experience of a lifetime. The River Capilano flows 230 feet below me as I sway around, trying to balance. The wilderness is all encompassing, offering me breathtaking views of the canyon and the river below where salmon swim around, mindless of tourists like me, looking down at them. It does not however end here. Treetops adventures takes me to dizzying heights where I am standing at 100 feet high, literally on trees looking out for birds. And then I head on a trail, along suspended walkways along the edge of a cliff, separated from the ravine below by a just a sheet of glass, lost in the beauty of nature around. There are many more adventures here but these three should not be missed.
