IRCTC introduces new Vaishno Devi tour package starting at INR 2420

If you are planning to go to Vaishno Devi in this holiday, then there is good news for you. IRCTC has come up with a great package of tour packages for the devotees visiting Vaishno Deities once again. The name of this package is Mata Vaishno Devi. Under the package, the train runs from 8.50 pm daily to New Delhi Railway Station, which takes passengers on the next morning at 8.40 am.
The shrine of Mata Vaishno Devi can now be accessed at a much affordable cost, thanks to the new tour package introduced by the IRCTC. According to the IRCTC website, passengers keen on having the darshan of the goddess can buy the 1 night and 2 days package costing INR 2420 for triple occupancy and 2600 for double occupancy.


Tourists opting for single occupancy will have to pay INR 4110. In addition, passengers travelling with children up to 5-11 years will have to pay INR 1750 for the berth. The deluxe package has been priced at INR 2770 for triple occupancy, INR 3100 for double occupancy and INR 5120 for single occupancy.

All the tourists enrolling for this package will be provided accommodation in the IRCTC guest house. As per the itinerary, the train will leave from Delhi railway station at night and reach Katra in Jammu the following morning. On arrival, all the passengers will be given travel slips and then after, everyone will depart for Banganga. The passengers can visit the mountain shrine of Vaishno Devi and rest for the day. The following day, they can do as they like and then arrive at the railway station in Katra to board the 7:10 PM train to Delhi.

As per the schedule, the train will reach Delhi the next morning at 6:50 AM or so.
