The next morning, walk leisurely along Front Street west until you get to historic St. Lawrence Market. This covered market is in the oldest part of Toronto and has been in operation since 1803. Inside, you'll find a tantalising display of fresh fish, meat, produce, cheese, nuts and prepared foods on the main floor, and antiques and crafts in the basement. A local favourite is the peameal bacon sandwich with a coffee. Instant breakfast. In summer, you can sit outside.
