City Centre

Belfast is a great city to explore on foot. Although the public transport is great, there is an other-worldly charm about walking around the city centre, soaking in the sights, and enjoying the world go by. Many of the famous sites and restaurants can be found in the city centre.
If it’s shopping you are after, then you won’t be disappointed either. Victora Square is home to over 50 shopping stores and boasts of all the big names such as House of Fraser. This building is one of the costliest in the world, so even if you are not into shopping, it’s worth going in for a leisurely saunter.

There are plenty of parks and open spaces where one should enjoy a languorous picnic and soak in the sun, if it does decide to come out. If one is in Belfast over a weekend, a must-see place is the St. George’s market, which has a different theme on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays ranging from world-food to local arts and crafts.
End your day with a meal at one of the numerous restaurants in the city centre, our favourite being 4th Wall and AMPM. And when you are in Belfast, don’t forget to try Guinness!
