The upper regions of Uttarakhand are again hit by fresh snowfall, even as the last week’s cold wave continued. Dhanaulti, one of the major tourist destinations in the state, is likely to attract more tourists yet again, owing to the snowfall last night. The upper regions of Uttarakhand are again hit by fresh snowfall, even as the last week’s cold wave continued. Dhanaulti, one of the major tourist destinations in the state, is likely to attract more tourists yet again, owing to the snowfall last night. As of now, there is news that tourist arrivals at Dhanaulti have been put to a stop by the administration.
The current weather condition has also led to a shutdown of schools in Chamoli and Rudraprayag. It has been reported that around 85 villages in District Chamoli have been cut off from the rest of the state owing to snowfall.
