The Jews have an inseparable history with Poland. The biggest ghetto or locality where the Jewish settlement once flourished comprises of nine prominent sights. Keep in mind that it is advised to keep your head covered to respect the faith and tradition of the Jews. If you would like to begin this walking tour on your own at the Kazimierez Jewish District, start at the New Cemetery of the Jews in Poland that was established in the 1800s. Then head to The Temple Synagogue, The New Square, and The Center for Jewish Culture. Follow this with visiting the two famous Synagogues – the Izaak Synagogue, and the Wysoka Synagogue. Next visit the two prominent museums – The City Engineering Museum, and the Krakow Historical Museum. Finish your walking tour by visiting The Remuh Synagogue and Cemetery in the end. Be respectful of the Synagogues, ensure you do not talk on the phone inside, leave your head uncovered, or indulge in unacceptable behaviour here.
