PM Modi visits Shimla, remembers his old days at the iconic Indian Coffee House

Indian PM Mr. Narendra Modi is in Shimla for the official oath ceremony of state’s newly elected Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh, Jairam Thakur. On his way back, he couldn’t stop himself from stopping by at the legendary Indian Coffee House on Mall Road to relish a cup of coffee.
This coffee haunt in Shimla is not new for Mr. Prime Minister; he used to visit here regularly as a young man and stopped here for old times’ sake. He said, the coffee is still as good as it was 20 years ago.
Later, Mr. Modi remembering his good old days with the BJP tweeted, "In Shimla, relished coffee at the Indian Coffee House and reminisced old days. The coffee tastes as good as it did two decades ago, when I would frequent Himachal for party work".

His visit came as a surprise for the common people, who flocked around the place to get a picture clicked with Mr. Modi. He was considerate enough to allow people to take selfies with him.
