A part of the Uri Alps of Switzerland, Titlis is a winter wonderland like no other. Home to ‘Titlis Rotair’, the very first revolving cable car in the world and the highest suspension bridge known to mankind, this peak is an absolute tourist trap, but the good kind. Head over to the Ice Flyer Chairlift for excellent views of the glacier and have truckloads of fun at the Glacier Park. Explore the intimidating depths of the Glacier Cave and take the Titlis Cliff Walk to feel the warm embrace of the mountains. If you are someone like me, the landscape might just remind you of gooey chocolate brownies topped with pristine, creamy vanilla ice-cream. However, despite not being edible, the views are deliciously breathtaking. Even at 3032 m, Titlis has wonderful souvenir shops and restaurants that serve Italian and Swiss staples along with Indian cuisine.
