As per news reports, the Panj Tirath Temple in Peshawar will likely be opened this month and is believed to be built on the site, where Pandavas lived for a while during their exile. Reportedly, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province has already declared it a national heritage.
Pakistan’s Evacuee Trust Property Board Chairman Aamir Ahmad, while talking to the press, stated that the restoration work of the temple was already in progress and that they are going to inaugurate the temple in January.
Also, on November 9, 2019, on the 550th birthday of Guru Nanak Dev, the Kartarpur corridor was opened to connect Sikh shrines, i.e., Gurdwara Darbar Sahib Kartarpur (in Punjab, Pakistan) and Dera Baba Nanak Sahib (in Punjab, India).
