Montezuma

This is where everyone from the village of Montezuma comes to chill. You will most likely spot tattooed yoga aspirants who are part time musicians, and full time scuba divers. You get the drift. This village at the pacific coast, has a butterfly farm, offers canopy tours, surfing, horseback riding classes, and snorkelling. But going to do something to Montezuma is almost antithetical to its spirit. People visit Montezuma to do nothing. Ok, may be to get high, therefore the moniker Montefuma! Fume in Spanish means to smoke. This is the ultra-laid back place of Costa Rica where people visit to stay for a week or two.
