Home to the highest-altitude brewery in Europe called BierVision Monstein, you can learn about beer brewing and ingredients, and even taste beer in different stages of fermentation here. The high you feel afterwards isn’t just the beer talking, but as much the heady history and architecture of the village - with its timber houses, some still covered with larch tiles, and streets punctuated with stone statues.
