The big event at MoMA PS1 this summer, like every summer, was Warm Up. Long Island City's long-running outdoor music series—completed its 17th year—returned for another season of Saturday afternoon DJ shindigs and musical performances (started on June 28). The daytime dance party takes place in PS1's courtyard, also the site of a temporary urban landscape built by Hy-Fy—the winners of the museum's Young Architects Program competition, another annual tradition. The museum itself is among America's oldest and most respected that specialises in contemporary art.
