In order to have a more enriching experience, you can also explore the Meiji Jingu Treasure House, as it is a fabulous mirror reflecting the Meiji era, containing some intimate belongings of the Emperor and Empress. The admission fee is 500 Yen and it is open from 9 am to 4:30 pm. The Inner Garden, located within the shrine complex is also a nice place to stroll around, and you would have to pay an entrance fee for the same. The Meiji Shrine is a few metres away from the Harajuku Station, and is open from sunrise till sunset. Entrance is free.
