We knew about a temple dedicated to Congress chairperson Sonia Gandhi in Telangana, a visa temple in Hyderabad and a temple especially built for the legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan in Kolkata.
Now, here comes another surprise, another temple that has a weird worship figure. There exists in India a temple made for the US President Donald Trump; the said temple is located 110 km from Hyderabad. It is situated in a small village, called Konne, in Telangana’s Jangaon district where a six-feet tall idol of Trump is worshipped by his devotee.
This Krishna is a devotee of Trump
How did it start?
Well, Krishna’s rare devotion has a back story, and quite an unusual one at that. It all started when he saw Trump in an early morning dream. As the Hindus believe, dreams seen early in the morning hold some significance and some even come out to be true. Ever since, Krishna has been worshipping Donald Trump by installing an idol of him by spending a whopping 2 lakhs and offering pujas to it!
Krishna’s dreams, featuring his deity Trump, have also been prophetic. Once, he saw Trump in a dream and the latter told him that India would win the cricket match during the 2019 World Cup against Pakistan. Of course, India won the match and Krishna’s faith strengthened in his ‘god’.
Krishna’s legendary devotion for Trump
Now, even Krishna’s family members perform pujas at the Trump Temple by offering all the ritualistic items like vermillion, turmeric, aarti etc. Add to that, Krishna also carries the picture of his god wherever he goes and even wears a t-shirt with Trump’s face printed on it.
