All the fun and frolic happen along this lake. With people reading books in the sun, playing discs, artists performing, dining in the open in the vibrant Steamer Wharf, the scene is set for everyday festivities that last all year round. Walk along the banks to reach the other quieter side of the lake, which has beautiful serene gardens. You should also take a cruise on this lake, which starts from Queenstown, with some of them offering lunch on the farm on the other side of the lake. Being in Queenstown, I can vouch that you will begin your day with a view of this lake and come back to it at night again, and will leave the town when the time comes only with a heavy heart!
