As per the latest news reports, all the 14 islands will be interconnected via ferries, and there will be walkways too connecting these islands. S Vijayakumar, Secretary District Tourism Promotion Council (DTPC), referring to this development said that once a visitor reaches Kadamakkudy, he will be welcomed by a variety of avenues or activities. The visitors will be offered an opportunity to enjoy a village walk, and experience rural life by taking part in farming and fishing. The official further stated that there will be hop-on and hop-off ferries to allow tourists to visit all those connecting islands.
