Air India’s Women’s Day Celebrations on International Women’s Day is kicking off in style. The national carrier is flying 12 international and 40 domestic flights on this joyous day with an all-women crew.
A statement released by Air India says that the 12 all-women crew flights would be flying on its medium and long-haul international route, while there would be 40 return domestic and short-haul flights within India. A total of 52 flights are being operated today by women in Air India to celebrate International Women’s Day.

The international routes with an all-woman crew in Air India are going to be the following – Delhi-San Francisco, Delhi-New York, Delhi-Chicago, Delhi-Washington, Delhi-London, Delhi-Paris, Delhi-Sydney, Delhi-Rome, Mumbai-London and Mumbai-Shanghai.
On the domestic front, Air India’s women pilots and cabin crew would be operating Airbus family aircraft and dreamliners to 40 destinations within India.
GoAir, on the other hand, has a special offer on this day for its women passengers. On International Women’s Day, all women are eligible for a complimentary upgrade to Go Business. This offer stands at airport check-in counters on March 8, 2019, only.
