IRCTC ready to delight tourists: 6N/7D summer trip to Shimla, Manali starts at INR 31730

IRCTC has good news for all those who love to holiday in the hills. The announcement has come in the peak summer time, when everyone is seeking a respite from the hot sun in some way or another.
Taking into account the prevailing weather, IRCTC has come up with a tour package called ‘Himachal Delight’ that offers people a wonderful chance to travellers to cool off in the serene Himalayan Mountains.

The package features a trip to Shimla and Manali for 6 nights and 7 days. The ‘Himachal Delight’ tour package has been designed to suit all those potential tourists living in Kolkata or nearby destinations.
Brief itinerary

The journey will start May 31 onwards from the Kolkata city airport, and tourists on-board will be flown to Chandigarh via air to make travel more convenient.

In Chandigarh, the tourists will be shown the Rock Garden, Rose Garden and other known places. After that, they will be accommodated in a hotel to spend the night and proceed for Himachal the next morning. Once the tour of Manali and Shimla is over, tourists will leave for the Delhi airport to board the flight to Kolkata airport.

Package cost

In case of single occupancy, the cost of the package is INR 47895. For double occupancy, the cost of the entire trip is INR 33795 per person. For triple occupancy, the package will cost INR 31730 per person. If children in the age group 5 to 11 years are accompanying their guardians, this package will cost INR 25875. For the children in the age bracket 2 to 4 years, the package cost with additional bed will be INR 17590.

The tourists will be flown in the Economy Class; in Manali, tourists will be accommodated for 3 nights in a deluxe hotel and for 2 nights in Shimla. Breakfast and dinner are also included in this package. As for transportation, a 17-seater tempo traveller will be available for sightseeing purpose. A tour manager will be on duty to guide all the tourists throughout the trip. Travel insurance is also included in this package.
