Google India’s top search trends, as revealed recently, indicate the year-end mood in India. Bali, Maldives, Seychelles, Bangkok, and Dubai, feature in the top search trends. It has also been revealed that the words honeymoon, luxury, and safari are at the helm of such searches.
The search trend observed from September to November of this year shows that there has been a 27 percent increase in holiday-related searches in comparison to last year. At the same time, international and domestic luxury searches have both seen a sharp increase of 34 percent.
The winter months always call for a warm holiday, and this is perhaps why Google trends showed that there has been a 32 percent rise in searches for safari expeditions. Some of these include Dubai’s desert safari, night safari in Singapore, Bali safari, and Safari World in Bangkok.

Dubai however continues to enjoy the top spot as the most searched international destination in India, and is followed by Bangkok, Thailand, and Disneyland, USA. Also, international cricket tournaments gave rise to searches regarding cricketing nations, particularly Melbourne, and Lords, UK.

Kerala in India is still the number 1 destination for domestic travellers, and weekend getaways from Delhi saw a whopping 361 percent increase in searches.
