While you may or may not choose to believe in the scary tales associated with these places, a trip to one of these is sure to give you goosebumps with sheer anticipation that is in the air. Shaniwar Wada is one of the most famous tourist attractions in Pune. Built in 1736, it was one of the strongest forts of its time. Kuldhara in Rajasthan is one of the most famous haunted sites in the country. The site is a dilapidated village that is in ruins now. As per the folklore, the village was deserted overnight by all the villagers, owing to a curse and has been haunted since then. There are tours and excursions to the village but nobody is allowed to stay or visit it after sunset.

These are the remains of an erstwhile hunting lodge and that was built in 14th century in Delhi. In ruins now, this place is also believed to be one of the most haunted places in the capital. While you can choose to believe or not believe in the stories that run wild here, the vibe here is strange since the ruins are amidst dense trees, with roots taking over much of the structure.
