Travellers across the world are always looking for the safest countries to travel to; indeed it is an important thing to consider when travelling. In this regard, a new report has made some suggestions. A map titled Travel Risk Map has been published by International SOS that ranks Nordic countries as the safest to travel to.

Most European nations ranked low on risk, alongside countries such as the Unites States of America, Australia, Canada and Japan. Moreover, Russia, Ukraine and Kosovo were countries with medium ranking. Those with high risk of road traffic accidents are considerable parts of Middle East, Southeast Asia, Middle East and Africa. So these areas did not earn the tag of the safest countries for travel. Eastern Ukraine does not stand favourable in the map; it is considered extremely unsafe due to its continuous conflicts and unrests.
The countries on medium travel risks are ranked so because they have specific regions that are on the higher risk side and these countries are Mexico, India, Egypt and Ukraine.
The Travel Risk Map 2018 definitely sheds light on some important factors of travel, and should be considered by travellers across the world.
