Goa Sunburn EDM Festival finally gets government’s approval

Goa Tourism Minister Manohar Ajgaonkar recently said that the state government has given ‘in-principle’ permission to host the Sunburn Electronic Dance Museum (EDM) festival in Goa in December. The Tourism Minister also stated that the final approval for this festival will be given only when the organisers agree to fulfil the criteria laid down by the government.
The minister also stated that as of now, they have given in-principle approval to Sunburn Klassique to host the festival from December 27 to 29.
Latest reports suggest that the promoter of the festival, Precept Live, is collaborating with Goa-based nightlife and promotions firm Klassique for all the Sunburn events in the state. This year, the festival is going to be held at Vagator Beach in North Goa.
Reportedly, Maceo Plex and Luciano will be performing in Sunburn Festival 2019, wherein the house and techno producers will be featuring in the festival's new SOLARIS concept and will be their first appearance in India. Also, this brand new venture will be aiming to bring together the best in international homegrown house and techno across two stages at the festival.
The Sunburn Festival is popular for being Asia's biggest electronic music festival, which showcases a lineup of House, Techno, EDM and Pop for three days on Goa's Vagator Beach. Tickets are now available online; so yes, you need to hurry up if interested.
