Marvel at the beauty of Zurich with this panoramic view – the Üetliberg is a mountain range located within Zurich district. The summit at 871 m can be reached by a train from Zurich main station in 20 minutes. The train ride passes through scenic mountains and brings visitors to the base of the 185 m tall Uetliberg TV-tower. The observation tower offers spectacular 360 degree view of Zurich city, Lake Zurich and the mountain range of Glarner Alps. The top of the Uetliberg mountain is lined with numerous well-marked trails for hiking and mountain biking. During the winter, locals flock to the Uetliberg for sledge rides. Enjoy a picturesque two-hour walk from Uetliberg to Felsenegg (Adliswil), and admire the natural beauty surrounding the Zurich city. The terrace restaurant is a great stopover to grab a hot cup of coffee or beer before taking the gondola lift back to Adliswil. You can actually be on cloud nine at the summit of Uetliberg during November when a blanket of fog covers Zurich city below!
