Four urban forests are to be developed in Paris

Green spaces in Paris are going to come up in major landmarks in the city. Central Paris, which is known to be generally beautiful, actually lacks enough green spaces. Now, these Paris urban forests are on the pipeline as per the city’s Mayor Anne Hidalgo’s ambitious new plans. The major landmarks chosen for this green project are Hotel de Ville, the Opera Garnier, and along the Seine quayside.
These wonderful new green spaces are going to help the surface of the city to turn from mineral to vegetal. Mayor Anne Hidalgo had already unveiled the designs for these urban forests last summer, and now it will finally come to fruition. It is her dream to see Paris as a city that is green, so everyone can have fresh air to breathe. Also this allows Parisians to experience wider spaces in the city.
Not only for the public, the green spaces are also beneficial for the environment as it promotes biodiversity. In fact, the urban forests in the city of Paris will contain beautiful fruit trees and plants that are indigenous to the region.
