Green spaces in Paris are going to come up in major landmarks in the city. Central Paris, which is known to be generally beautiful, actually lacks enough green spaces. Now, these Paris urban forests are on the pipeline as per the city’s Mayor Anne Hidalgo’s ambitious new plans. The major landmarks chosen for this green project are Hotel de Ville, the Opera Garnier, and along the Seine quayside.
The Jardin Elisabeth Boselli Porte de Versailles is one such garden that is an island of nature in the middle of the concrete city. A great place to relax and to spend some quiet time, the Jardin Elisabeth Boselli Porte de Versailles has manicured fields and meadows and even routes for cyclists and pedestrians.
These new urban forests in the city will definitely change the landscape of Paris, and further enhance its reputation as a romantic city. The green spaces or urban forests are part of a bigger plan. The city wants to see 50 per cent of its area covered with pants and greenery by 2030.
