A beautiful Italian island known as Elba Island has recently launched an initiative known as Elba No Rain. This initiative allows you to get a refund for your money, which you paid for the stay, if it rains for more than two hours during the day. The Elba No Rain initiative is only valid for the month of May, so you have 15 more days left!
About the Island
The Elba Island is located on the coast of Tuscany, and is the largest one in this region. Being a popular tourist destination, the place receives numerous travellers each year. The island even hosted French Emperor Napoleon when he was exiled.
Another place of interest here are the dwelling places of Napoleon during his stay on the island.
What’s the deal with rain?
This paradisiacal place is susceptible to bad weather from time to time, and so according to reports, the Elba No Rain policy has been promoted on the island. If it rains too much during your vacation here, you will get a refund for your hotel stay. But how much rain is too much rain? Actually if it rains for two hours straight, between 10 am and 8 pm, then you are in luck for a refund.
Visitors are however advised to see which hotels have adopted the policy, because not all hotels have the Elba No Rain offer.
