Durgam Cheruvu

The ideal getaway for nature lovers, Durgam Cheruvu is a beautiful emerald lake tucked between Jubilee Hills and Madhapur in Hyderabad. It is popularly known as Secret Lake, because of its partially hidden location between the boulders of the Deccan Plateau. A serene and picturesque spot, it has facilities for boating and fishing, but you can simply have a romantic picnic for two on its banks. The surrounding gardens are beautifully landscaped and add to the charm of the lake. There’s a 2 km-long walkway around the lake, as well as a rock garden, a floating fountain and artificial waterfall.
