A hub for nature lovers, Khanvel is a place you must visit during your stay in Silvassa. Located about 20 kms to the south of Silvassa, it is an ideal destination for people who love to travel slow and understand the meaning of lazy elegance. Be here and just let things take its own course while you see time pass by you waving its wings to you. The surreal beauty of Khanvel gets even more enchanting when you see a crystal blue river flowing through it. Named Sakartod, this river is the lifeline of Khanvel. A dense forest with rich biodiversity in vicinity adds more zing to it. The Van Vihar Tourist complex in Khanvel accommodated a deer park, a greenhouse and hotels on the riverbank. There is also a cactus house here. This part of Silvassa is pristine in nature and offers a perfect gateway to shed your fatigue.Refrain from posting comments that are obscene, defamatory or inflammatory, and do not indulge in personal attacks, name calling or inciting hatred against any community.
