Punjab Tourism Minister Navjot Singh Sidhu has revealed that one of the leading low-budget airlines will soon start operating flight services from Amritsar to Kuala Lumpur.

While making this announcement, former cricketer Sidhu pointed out that this flight will act as a major role in connecting the state of Punjab with other destinations in Asia and Europe.
Expected to make international travelling more convenient for travellers, these flights will be operated four times a week. Sidhu revealed that these flights will start operating around the time of Diwali festival in India.
The minister also said that since 30 percent of those who travel abroad from New Delhi are Punjabis, they will be the one who will be benefiting the most out of it.
