The Lord of the Rings fans can now head to Spain in order to get a slice of the Middle Earth. There is a new hiking trail that has just opened in Spain, and is going to take you through the northern part of the Sierra de Guadarrama. The trail is called El Camino del Anillo, which translates to the Ring Road.
The trail is a great opportunity to explore the beauty of central Spain. The authorities have urged hikers to stay at hotels and hostels run by locals. Moreover, there are some exciting stay options for you that will only compliment the Lord of the Rings theme. One place at Montejo de la Sierra has even organised an exhibition with Tolkein as a theme. It is really a paradise for Lord of the Rings fans!
