Delhi has done it again; it has once again managed to squeeze into the top list. Yes, we are talking about the recent study that was conducted to measure the stress level of a city. Zipjet carried out a study to determine the stress level of cities depending on various factors, such as public transport, security measures, mental and physical health, unemployment, pollution level, availability of green spaces, infrastructure, well-being of citizens and hours of sunlight that a city receives.
This UK based agency took 500 locations into consideration to derive a conclusion. Reading this piece of information will definitely make your mind wander as to how to shift base or travel, in case you are (were) a proud resident of Delhi.
Now, for the good part, the study brought to fore the most startling fact—four of the 10 most stress-free cities are in Germany! As per it, the least stressful cities in the world are—Stuttgart, Germany; Luxembourg City, Luxembourg; Hanover, Germany; Bern, Switzerland; Munich, Germany; Bordeaux, France; Edinburgh, United Kingdom; Sydney, Australia and Graz, Austria and Humburg, Germany.
While a trip to these should definitely be on the cards, it’s high time that we start thinking and contribute on individual level to help build our city and progress in the right direction.
