Dedicated to the Sufi Saint Khwaja Moin-uddin-Chisti, Dargah Sharif is an important and most visited pilgrim tourist destination for Muslims in India. It is the burial place of the revered sufi saint that has been visited by people of all castes, creed and religion. According to history, this sufi saint has been a source of inspiration for many and has worked towards the spiritual enlightenment and moral strength of people. The Dargah is marvelously decorated and is flanked by a huge courtyard, tombs and small buildings that remind the visitors about the exquisiteness of the architecture of the Mughal era. Thousands of pilgrims throng here during the annual festival of Urs. It is believed that all wishes made during this time are surely fulfilled.
