With most of the countries across the globe resorting to lockdown to stop the spread of COVID-19, most of the establishments are shifting their business into virtual platforms. As reported earlier, there has been news of many zoos offering virtual tours. Likewise, there were also many popular gardens across the globe that brought the luxury of wandering in those gardens to your homes.
These virtual activities are helping people to stay connected and bust the lockdown blues. The latest in line is the virtual cheese festival, which will take place in May from 8 to 10. Those taking part in this tour, will be able to take part in cheese tastings and also be a part of the tutorials.
Reportedly, it has been set up to support the UK cheesemakers, who have suffered a setback during the COVID-19 pandemic. The three-day event will offer several types of home activities too, as well as creating the perfect cheese board.
While experts will be conducting seminars on social media platforms, each of the sessions will last for about an hour, during which participants will also be able to ask questions.
The idea behind such a virtual tour is to encourage people to buy cheese in advance, and also sign up for their masterclass, so that they can listen to the experts in the field.
Mark the dates, and get your cheese ready.
