This hall at the head of Harlem Meer—the park's second largest man-made body of water—is home to a wide variety of facilities for visitors along the northern end of the Central Park, including the park's only environmental discovery centre, an office that loans out fishing gear for use in the Meer and a space that hosts children's workshops. The Ponds, Pipes, and People: Water in Central Park exhibition held here recently explored the area’s watery habitats.
