A gorgeous beach on the south east coast of Sardinia, it is about one hour drive from Cagliari. It is long and sandy (though not nearly as long as Costa Rei), with clear waters, and surrounded by thick Mediterranean vegetation. There are several kiosks with restaurants and bars on the beach, most of which also rent umbrellas, and sun beds, as well as kayaks and pedal boats. A few of them are actually quite stylish, commanding excellent locations for a romantic dinner, and even for important events such as weddings. Cala Sinzias is locally known for being a nesting point for marine turtles. The area where the turtles lay their eggs is under strict surveillance, and nobody is allowed to get close, so stay clear!
