Beautiful small cove in what looks like a fjord, it is located on the south-western coast of Sardinia and is little over one hour drive from Cagliari. The back of the beach has some beautiful dunes, and on both sides there are some hills surmounted by a Spanish watch tower dating back to the 15th century. The hills can be easily reached and the views from up there are spectacular. There are several hiking trails in the area, though it is better not to embark on a hike during the hot summer days. The beach itself has lovely white sand and nice blue waters, but when the mistral wind blows, the current is strong and it is almost impossible to get in the water. There is a smaller cove on the right of the beach that can be reached via a path that goes along the rocks.
