It was once the tallest structure in the city, alas it has been overshadowed by two others, but that doesn’t make it any less of an attraction. Visitors to Calgary will be able to spot this tower from anywhere Calgary, especially at night as it lights up in numerous colours, depending on the day and any events happening in the city. The 360-degree observation deck is actually the highest in the world with respect to its elevation above the sea level. The price of the admission ticket is inclusive of the multimedia tour, available in four different languages. The tour will take visitors on a walk through the history of Calgary, leading them from the base of the tower to the top from where they can enjoy panoramic views of the city. Some of the attractions that you can view from the observation deck are Chinatown, Old City Hall, Olympic Plaza and Calgary Zoo, among many others. For making it a little more memorable, make sure to dine at Sky 360, a revolving restaurant that offers a bird’s-eye view of the entire city.
