A part of the Dartry range of mountains that are ranged around Sligo, Ben Bulben is a beautiful and dramatic tabletop mountain, which forms a spectacular backdrop and features prominently in Yeats’ poetry. It is home to some unique Arctic-alpine plants, hares and foxes and is also a popular hiking and trekking destination.
