In fact, if forced to do so, the smell can create myriad adverse reactions such as vomiting, headache, and extreme level of irritation. This can also lead to severe depression in human beings.
to create some serious problems.
The tale of poop prison in Thailand
One time, chicken poop was used as a weapon against humans in 1893. It was the time when Thailand was occupied by the French and troops had constructed a tiny prison cell in Laem Sing in Chanthaburi province. This literally small (14 ft long and 23 ft high) rectangular structure known as Khuk Khi Kai (chicken poop prison) was created with red bricks and had two rows of ventilating slits on the sides.
The prisoners were kept on the ground floor while, on the terrace, they had built a chicken coop. The floor of the coop had small holes that would make chicken poop fall down on the prisoners below and would torture them.
If you ever visit Thailand, you can still see the prison which looks like a watchtower. It’s really hard to imagine that a place at such a peaceful and pleasant seaside location would have served such a wicked purpose in the past!
