Weather forecast for Delhi-NCR is off the charts, as Thursday evening saw rain and hailstorm hit the region. The Indian Meteorological Department had, in fact, predicted the change in weather conditions for February 6 and 7.
According to the reports, a fast wind was on the move since the afternoon of February 7, and many parts of North India were affected, including Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, and Delhi-NCR.
As per the forecast from the Meteorological Department of India, Friday will also see black clouds over Delhi-NCR. The sky would, however, remain clear for some time, but there is a possibility of rain. However, no further hail storm has been predicted. Besides Delhi-NCR, rain is expected in areas including Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab and Haryana.
Due to the weather conditions in Delhi NCR, fourteen domestic and four international flights were diverted from the Delhi airport in the evening.
