Animal’s day out―Escaped circus animals run freely in Paris streets

As reported earlier, while most countries are under lockdown and humans are struggling with the same owing to the COVID-19 outbreak, nature is claiming its spaces rightfully. Likewise, there have been many reports where people have claimed and shared videos on social media platforms, showcasing how animals are roaming freely on the streets.

Now, as per the latest news reports, Paris residents were in for a wonderful surprise when they witnessed a full-grown zebra running freely through the streets. Further, to add more fun to the scene, two horses joined it in the race and started galloping across the roads, taking the spectators by surprise.Reportedly, the trio escaped from a circus in the town of Ormesson-sur-Marne and made its way to the neighbouring town of Chamoigny-sur-Marne on the outskirts of the French capital.
The animals escaped from a circus after the gate of their enclosure was left open by accident. Referring to this, the circus owner claimed that the animals were trained and that they didn’t wander far from the circus. He added that the animals were just roaming in the neighbourhood, and that they were brought back to the circus after 15 minutes.
Mr Moulot, owner of Badin circus, said that the animals live in a park during the day, and in their trailer at night. However, since the videos have been shared on social media, they have been garnering thousands of views and also spreading some light moments of laughter among the watchers.
The videos shared on the social media platforms reminded many of films like Jumanji and Madagascar, while others believed that now is the time for nature to heal and reclaim its space.
