What is interesting to note is that the gurudwara is situated so close that one can even see it from the Indian side. Also, it allows Indians to cross the border and pay a visit to the gurdwara.
- All those who intend to visit Kartarpur Sahib, Pakistan, will have to register in advance.
- They will need to register in advance of the proposed date of travel.
- Do note, registration does not mean you get the right to travel.
- Those granted permission, will be sent electronic travel authorization (ETA) on the e-mail address provided in their application.
- They will need to bring a copy of the ETA to Dera Baba Nanak ICP.
- All those visiting the gurdwara will go in the morning, and will have to return the same day.
- Also note that everybody will be allowed to visit only Sri Kartarpur Sahib, and will not be allowed to go anywhere outside.
- Take eco-friendly material, preferably cloth bags need to be used to keep the surroundings clean.
- Currency as per RBI regulations must be followed.
- You will be allowed to take only one baggage up to 7 kg weight, which will also include drinking water.
- Smoking, use of tobacco, and drinking not allowed inside Passenger Terminal Building(PTB) Complex
- Do not touch any unattended article, and make sure that you inform the authorities if you find anything suspicious.
- Try not to photograph others without permission.
