Air India to introduce direct flights from Bhubaneswar to Bangkok from Dec 10

Air India is all set to begin its direct flights services from Bhubaneshwar to Bangkok from 10th December, 2017. According to a report, the airline will operate this flight from the Biju Patnaik International Airport in Bhubaneshwar.

State Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik tweeted that “Expansion of international air connectivity will give huge boost to tourism, trade & ties with South East Asian countries”. Explaining further, he said that "Bolstering Odisha's position as new gateway to the East, Air India announced direct flights from Bhubaneswar to Bangkok starting 10 Dec. Expansion of international air connectivity will give a huge boost to tourism, trade & ties with South East Asian countries".
The Air India flight will operate twice a week (Thursdays and Sundays) at 3:45 PM and provide its direct services from Bhubaneswar to Bangkok.

Earlier, direct international flights were available for Kuala Lumpur only from Bhubaneswar, which commenced on 26th April this year.
