Agra beyond the Taj Mahal - Part II

The historically rich city of Agra is beyond words and is one of the most preferred destinations for a quick getaway from Delhi. As you enter the city, it’s hard not to notice the beautifully carved monuments, the majority of which are built in the Mughal style of architecture. Agra needs no introduction among travellers as it is home to one of the Seven Wonders of the World—the Taj Mahal. Undoubtedly, the Taj tops the list of every tourist travelling to India or Agra. However, there are many other places to visit in Agra that unfortunately have been overshadowed by this splendid white marble mausoleum. Some of these lesser known attractions are mentioned here.
